WORK, LEISURE AND TOURISM IN THE PACIFIC RIM

This special issue encourages submissions of business and behavioral science related research that addresses culture, work, leisure, hospitality consumption and tourism in the Pacific Rim (including East Asia, Oceania, North and South America and the Pacific islands.) Both empirical and theoretical papers are welcome. Topics may apply to any area of business, including, but not limited to:
 
  • Cross-cultural theory and research including coming-of-age in local culture studies
  • Leisure, hospitality consumption and/or tourism behavior in a country of the Pacific Rim
  • Comparisons of leisure, hospitality consumption or tourism behavior in countries on Pacific Rim
  • Management and work in Pacific Rim countries
  • Government policy toward business relating to work, leisure, or tourism in countries of the Pacific Rim
  • Any other topics with direct relevance to leisure, hospitality consumption and/or tourism in the Pacific Rim countries
Submissions should be sent to all three guest editors by email WORD attachments.  
Submission Guidelines: Papers submitted must not have been published, accepted for publication, or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submission Manuscripts should be submitted in electronic format.  All manuscripts should be typed double-spaced using Times New Roman 12 point font.  Manuscripts should be a maximum of 25 text pages and up to 8 pages of reference, figures, tables, and appendices.  Please double space everything on the cover, abstract, text, and reference pages.
