Prof. Bihu Wu, director of Center for Recreation and Tourism Research(CRTR) Peking University，Secretary-General of International Tourism Studies Association(ITSA) PR China was invited to attend 17th ISA conference on 11th—17th  July 2010, Gothenburg Sweden and elected as ISA RC50 manager in the coming four years.

ISA RC50 was set up in 1944 and run every four year. It is mainly focus on developing and maintaining worldwide relationship and communication among social-tourism experts、encouraging information communication and scientific activities in social-tourism research in an international domain、and promoting international conferences、paper publication、and book publishing. Prof. Jan Nederveen Pieterse, University of California, Santa Barbara has also been elected as ISA RC member.

吴必虎教授参加第17届ISA世界大会并当选ISA 国际旅游委员会RC50主任

        2010年7月11日至7月17日，北京大学旅游研究与规划中心主任、博士生导师、国际旅游学会秘书长吴必虎教授参加了瑞典哥德堡召开的第17届ISA（国际社会学学会）世界大会并当选为未来四年ISA国际旅游研究委员会RC50的主任。

        ISA国际旅游研究委员会RC50创建于1994年，每4年一届，它的责任是发展和维护全世界旅游社会学家之间的广泛联系和交往，鼓励旅游社会学研究方面世界范围的信息交流和科学活动，推动旅游社会学方向的国际会议、论文发表、书籍出版。本届同时当选的还有加州大学圣巴巴拉分校的Jan Nederveen Pieterse教授。

        吴必虎教授在RC50国际旅游委员会的第六个分会“Multiple Disciplines and the Significance of ‘Unusual’ Disciplinary Approaches”的演讲题目是：Keyword-Based Analysis on Tourism Knowledge Domains：A Multidisciplinary Structure of Tourism Studies。
