Prof. Bihu Wu, Director of Center for Recreation and Tourism Research (CRTR) Peking University，Secretary-General of International Tourism Studies Association (ITSA) PR China was invited as a keynote speaker to attend the 1st Sino-French Tourism Forum:Tourism Education & Urban Tourism at East China Normal University 30 June-2 July Shanghai,China.

The Forum focused on “Urban Tourism & City Heritage & Tourism Education” and  mainly discussed issues of heritage tourism of urban great event、industrial heritage tourism、community heritage tourism、high level tourism education under globalized perspectives、tourism professional academic system construction and development、and innovation of tourism education and research method  via various ways of keynote speech、concurrent meetings、group discussion、post conference visiting.

Prof. Bihu Wu addressed the keynote speech on “Higher Tourism Education of Mainland China: A Survey and Value-based Review” , which introduced “Future Association of Tourism Education” and raised five basic values of tourism education: Ethics、Knowledge、Professionalism、Stewardship、Mutuality，and analyzed structure of domestic teaching resources、pointed out existing problems and put forward the settlement.

吴必虎教授应邀参加首届中法旅游论坛

       2010年6月30日至7月2日，北京大学旅游研究与规划中心主任、博士生导师、国际旅游学会秘书长吴必虎教授作为演讲嘉宾参加了在华东师范大学举办的首届中法旅游论坛。出席本次论坛的还有国内60余所高校百余名专家学者和来自法国的30余位嘉宾。上海旅游局沈山州副局长、塞纳马恩省议会副主席兼省旅游委员会主席莱昂内尔•卫柯先生、法国旅游学院执行主席让吕克•米枢先生均出席了论坛。

        本次论坛围绕“都市旅游城市遗产•旅游教育”，通过主题演讲、并行会议、小组研讨、会后参观等多样化的形式，重点探讨了都市大型事件遗产旅游、工业遗产旅游、社区遗产旅游、全球化视角下的旅游高等教育、旅游专业学科体系建设与发展、旅游教育与研究方法的创新等内容。

        吴必虎教授的演讲题目是“Higher Tourism Education of Mainland China: A Survey and Value-based Review”，分析了我国旅游师资结构及存在的问题和解决之道，并介绍了“旅游教育未来学会”提出的旅游学教育五大基本价值理念：循道（Ethics）、传知（Knowledge）、专术（Professionalism）、敬事（Stewardship）、尊人（Mutuality）。
